My story

Turning life experience into a mission to help others.

Forty years of ups and downs

Over the past 40 years, I've experienced many of the ups and downs of the U.S. economy firsthand — strong growth, market volatility, changing interest rates, rising costs, and big shifts in how families plan for their futures. Through all of it, one lesson became clear: financial knowledge matters. A good income is important, but knowing how to manage, protect, grow, and use that income wisely makes a profound difference.

I've made financial mistakes too

My interest in financial education isn't just from books, courses, or professional experience. It's personal. At different stages of my life, I made financial decisions I would approach differently today — some from not having enough information, others from not fully understanding the long-term consequences. Those experiences taught me that you don't have to make every mistake yourself to learn from it. Families deserve to understand their choices before making important decisions, not after.

Financial planning is about more than numbers

To me, financial planning isn't about investments, insurance, retirement accounts, or taxes in isolation. It's about the bigger picture:

  • How do you build savings while managing today's expenses?
  • How do you protect your family from unexpected events?
  • How can your investments and retirement accounts work together?
  • How do you create income that supports the retirement you envision?
  • How do you make thoughtful decisions about taxes, risk, and legacy?

There isn't a single strategy that's right for everyone. My role is to help families become more informed, understand their options, and see how the pieces fit together.

My mission

After spending much of my career building technology products and leading teams around the world, I'm entering a new chapter with a different kind of purpose: to provide financial education, help families make informed decisions, and bring more confidence and peace of mind to their financial journey. That means making financial education approachable, encouraging families to ask questions, and being there whether they're just getting started, raising a family, preparing for retirement, or thinking about the legacy they want to leave.

Building a better financial future, together

I don't believe financial success is measured only by how much someone accumulates. Real confidence comes from knowing where you are today, where you want to go, and having a thoughtful plan to get there. When more families have that knowledge, our communities become stronger. That's the mission I've chosen for this chapter of my life.
